Robert Angell
Robert C. Angell has practiced in the courts and agencies of Ohio and Colorado, and federal district and appellate courts, since 1993. He is a former Assistant Attorney General, and currently an administrative hearing examiner, for the State of Ohio. He has served as an in-service trainer for the Ohio Department of Health and the Ohio Corrections Training Academy, and as a faculty presenter on legal and risk-management issues for the Ohio State Bar Association, the Columbus Bar Association, the National Association of Attorneys General, the Association for Challenge Course Technology, and the Climbing Wall Association, Inc.
Mr. Angell has extensive and successful experience in trial and appellate advocacy, legal research, motion practice, litigation support, expert and lay discovery, e-discovery, document review and drafting, and transactional matters. He has a strong record of obtaining successful results for his clients through legal and litigation skills and first-rate writing ability, and has been commended on many occasions by clients, other attorneys, and judges for his courtroom and client-relations abilities.
Mr. Angell holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees from The Ohio State University and earned his law degree with honors from Capital University in Columbus, Ohio, where he was a published member of the Law Review and an extern to the Hon. Alan E. Norris of the Sixth U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals. He holds a certificate from Community Mediation Services of Central Ohio. He resides in Gahanna, Ohio with his wife, Elaine.
